Applications are being invited for a 2 year MSc in Bioinformatics to start in January 2018 in the department of Biomedical Sciences, College of Medicine, University of Malawi. The MSc Bioinformatics programme combines foundational skills in computing, programming, molecular biology, research methods and other natural sciences. The course draws together highly-rated teaching and research expertise from across various African institutions, International Universities and research institutions to equip learners for a successful bioinformatics career in both industry or academia.

It is designed for students from both biological science and computational backgrounds across the African continent and globally. Prior experience with computing is not required to enroll in the programme.

The program will run full time for two years from January 2018 to December 2019.
