This is to notify our readers that an article “Don’t rush into thinking of walking again”: Patient views of treatment and disability following an open tibia fracture in Malawi” by Alexander.Schade@lstmed.ac.uk et al has been retracted from the Malawi Medical Journal at the will of the authors citing funding issues with their organization as the reason. The article was accepted for publication in December 2021 and was posted on the MMJ website as online first April 2022 pending publication in the June 2022 issue. Attached is a letter of retraction by the authors and we sincere apologies to readers that might have an interest in this article.
